The College of Health Sciences and Human Ecology (HSHE) is home to six departments whose programs focus on people, communities and civic engagement.
The college's programs prepare students for professional careers in the behavioral, social and health sciences. Our students develop the abilities to become professionals who communicate effectively, analyze and process complex information, contribute creatively and adapt to a rapidly changing world.
The College offers degree programs in the areas of community health, criminal justice, early childhood education, elementary education, exercise science, health education, nursing, physical education, psychology, social work, and sports management. Foundations core courses are offered for the secondary education majors. Minors are offered in chemical dependency, developmental adapted physical education, and outdoor education. There are many scholarship opportunities within the College of Health Sciences and Human Ecology.
