Each year the BSU Calling Center student callers reach out to the parents and family of current BSU students in an effort to keep them connected to campus, and possibly garner their financial support. Thanks to our generous families, the Parent and Family Phonathon continues to grow each year.
At BSU, tuition alone does not support all the programs, student services, and activities that make up a high quality education. The Parents Fund helps the University to fund programs that are the most beneficial to the students. The money raised from this year's Parent and Family Phonathon will be used to maintain an excellent library through library acquisitions, a good Internet resource, excellent faculty and an effective placement office - which has become extremely important during these hard economic times. A gift to the Parent Fund helps with these important things and keeps BSU on the cutting edge in service to the student.
Why give to the Parent Fund? Aside from helping the University, it is a way to invest in BSU and your child's education. Perhaps the best reason to give through this program is that each family that participates by contributing to the Parents Fund directly helps their child's education by increasing the University's opportunity to sustain our excellent library and career services, as well as improve the projects and programs that are offered to their child on this campus.
Gifts to the Parents Fund will increase the quality of the University, which helps your child by increasing the value of his/her degree.
