Jeff KeminkJeff Kemink is Area Business Banking Manager for Wells Fargo in the South Metro & Southern MN Business Banking District. His responsibilities include all business banking operations in these geographic areas plus management oversight of the Wells Fargo Minnesota Residential Real Estate Construction division. Kemink oversees 80 team members through 5 direct report manager relationships.
A 25+ year financial services industry veteran, Kemink was promoted to his current role in May 2009. Prior to that, he was District President of Wells Fargo's Northern MN BB District after serving as District President of all community banking operations in Northern MN for Wells Fargo. Kemink has also been President of Wells Fargo - Missoula/Superior, Montana from 2001 to 2005 and served as President and District Manager in Moorhead, Minnesota from 1994 to 2001. In addition during Kemink career with Wells Fargo, he has earned numerous Wells Fargo Management Excellence honors.
Kemink currently serves on the board of directors for the Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bemidji Joint Economic Development Corporation, the Bemidji State University Foundation and the Bemidji Development Corporation. In addition, he is a steward for Bemidji Leads & serves on the Minnesota Bankers Association Government Relations Council. Kemink was recently selected as a participant in the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce's 2009-2010 Leadership Minnesota program.
In Montana, Kemink served on the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Missoula County and the Missoula Area Economic Development Corporation boards of directors. He also volunteered with Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity and the Western Montana Rodeo committee. In addition, Kemink was on advisory boards for the University of Montana President, the Community Medical Center and the Montana World Trade Center.
In Moorhead, Kemink served as the chair for the Moorhead Area Chamber of Commerce and the Moorhead Economic Development Authority. He represented Wells Fargo on the Minnesota Agri-Growth Council Executive Board and was a City of Moorhead delegate for the community's All-America City, America's Promise and Project Tomorrow initiatives.
His past service club memberships have included Kiwanis, Optimist and Rotary plus active leadership involvement in numerous other education, athletic and community organizations.
The Castlewood, S.D., native holds a bachelor's degree from Iowa State University. Kemink is married and has two grown children.
