Carol Russell

Carol Russell is CEO of Russell Herder, an integrated marketing communications firm located in Minneapolis and Brainerd. The organization has represented corporate and governmental entities regionally and nationally for over 26 years. Carol leads the firm's strategic practice, which is known for utilizing market intelligence, creative and social media campaigns to achieve results. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from BSU; a Master's degree in communications management and is also a graduate of the University of Minnesota Executive Program, Carlson School of Management. As well as participating on the BSU Foundation Board, she serves on the AAAA-Twin Cities and Minnesota CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates Board of Directors)

The goal of the Charles S. Holt Memorial Scholarship was to support knowledge. It was designed to take some burden off finances and allow students to focus on studies. I hoped it would give them a little push to reach their full potential.
