Becky is First Vice President - Director of Information Services with Federated Mutual Insurance in Owatonna, MN. Becky joined Federated Insurance in 1977 as a computer programmer. She had held the positions of programmer, senior programmer, lead programmer, computer systems development supervisor, manager, director and vice president during her 20 year tenure with Federated Insurance. She was named first vice president and director of information services in early 2000.
She received an Associate of Arts degree from Rainy River Community College (International Falls, MN) in 1975, Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Bemidji State University (Bemidji, MN) in 1977 and her Master in Software Design and Development from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN) in 1993.
Becky is a member of the National Association of Insurance Women, Internantional; Society for Information Management, Property and Liability Association for New Systems; National Association of Female Executives; and CAUCUS.
She currently serves as President for Cedar Valley Services board and as secretary for the Minnesota chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM).

The goal of the Charles S. Holt Memorial Scholarship was to support knowledge. It was designed to take some burden off finances and allow students to focus on studies. I hoped it would give them a little push to reach their full potential.
