The Facts and Figures for the Foundation
The duties and responsibilities of the BSU Foundation include the administration of scholarship funds, endowments, and other contributions that are established through private support. The Foundation manages planned, current, and deferred gifts. The staff of the Foundation ensure that the stated objectives of the donor are met, currently managing over 300 scholarships and endowment accounts.
Contributions received by the BSU Foundation are administered by the Finance Committee of the Foundation Board of Directors. The Finance Committee establishes the investment policy and supervises the portfolio of the Bemidji State University Foundation.

We support scholarships because it is an opportunity to give back to Bemidji, the Native American community, and to Bemidji State because they have been good to us.
