Dr. Mark Yorek

Bemidji State University Graduate 1976

Mark Yorek, a 1976 graduate of BSU, went on to complete a doctorate in biochemisty at the University of North Dakota. In addition to his assignment at the University of Iowa, he is a research health science specialist at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Iowa City, where he has been involved in diabetes research since 1984.
