- Former Vice President for Development at North Country Health Services.
- Established and coordinated the North Country Health Services Foundation Endowment Program.
- At NCHS, developed and implemented corporate marketing and public relations program, and facilitated corporate strategic planning.
- Named to Associate Status in the American College of Health Care Executives.

- Member of the BSU Foundation Board of Directors
- Former President and Campaign Chair for the Bemidji Area United Way.
- Served on the Board of Directors, and former Vice President and Secretary of the Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce.
- Former charter member of board and co-chair of the Bemidji/Blandin Partnership.
- Co-founder of the Bemidji Area Volunteer Coordinators.
- Member of the Bemidji Area Intergovernmental Relations Committee.
- Past board member of the Minnesota Office of Volunteer Services.
- Advisory board member for the Loonfeather Press, Upper Mississippi Mental Health Center, and the Area Committee on Non-Violence.
- Former board member of the Minnesota Health Strategy and Communications Network.
