  • Coach for Basketball and track; Welcome, Fisher, Elgin, and Swanville, MN, 1938-1944.
  • Superintendent, Fisher, Elgin, and Swanville Public Schools, MN, 1941-1946.
  • Purchased four Junior Department stores in Cottonwood, Granite Falls, Kenyon, MN; and Canton, SD, 1946-1978.

Community Service

  • Served on Church board and Church council, Kenyon, MN.
  • Assisted in the transportation of rural students, who wished to participate in extracurricular events and practices after school hours.
  • Member, former President, Lions Club, Kenyon, MN; Charter member, Cottonwood, MN.
  • Member, Masons, worked primarily on heart research funds that were donated to the University of Minnesota hospital.
  • Member, former President, Business Mens' Clubs, Kenyon, MN.

  • Assisted in the recruitment of two talented Basketball Athletes to Bemidji State University.
