  • Master's Degree in Management, Webster University, St. Louis, MO, 1976.
  • Teacher and Coach, Great Falls High School, Great Falls, MT.
  • Graduate, Command General Staff College, 1979, U.S. Army War College, 1989, Defense Systems Management College, 1983, and Fixed and Rotary wing aviator flight schools.
  • Extensive military career including positions such as: Product Manager of BLACKHAWK helicopter, a $6.8 billion program, and Senior Army Aviator with over 1500 flight hours.

Community Service

  • Coach, Little League Football and Soccer teams.

Outstanding Service to Bemidji State University

  • Member, BSU Athletic Hall of Fame.

Personal Achievements/Awards

  • U.S. Service awards: four awards of the Meritorious Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, and Thirteen Air Medals.

  • Sponsored an orphanage in Savannah with funding drives, clean-up projects, recreational activities, and interaction with the children.
