  • Master's Degree, Education, University of Minnesota, 1978-1983.

Community Service

  • Member, The Minnesota Polanie Club, promoting Polish culture.
  • Member, Minnesota/China Teacher Exchange Program, promoting teacher exchanges between Minnesota and China.
  • Member, The Washington D.C. Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program promoting international teacher exchanges in the world.

Outstanding Service to Bemidji State University

  • While attending BSU, participated on the Women's Swimming and Tennis teams.
  • Student Teaching, Geneva, Switzerland (Winter 1973) through a program between Moorhead and Bemidji State Universities.

Personal Achievements/Awards

  • First teacher selected to teach in Hangzhou, China, 1986.
  • Fulbright teacher selected to teach for 2 years in PECS, Hungary, 1993-1995.
  • Double majored and minored, Elementary Education and Elementary Physical Education with Minors in Recreation and Early Childhood, Bemidji State University, 1973.

Humanitarian Service

  • UNECO Summer English Language Camp teaching in Poland during the summers of 1984, 1985, and 1990.
  • Taught ESL at English Language Camps in Hungary in 1991 and 1992.
