• M.S. degree in zoology from the University of Illinois.
• Graduate work in the biology department of New York University.
• Graduate work in the physiology department of University of Minnesota.
• Professor of Biology, Bemidji State University for 36 years.

Community Service

• Trustee of the United Methodist Church.
• Helped in design and construction of Little Chapel of United Methodist Church.

Outstanding Service to Bemidji State University

• Local president for Inter Faculty Organization for one term.
• Serve on numerous committees.

• Charter member of the National Honor Society at Bemidji High School.
