
Dale Baldwin graduated from BSU in 1980 with a degree in physical education and health. He later went on to earn a Master's in education with an emphasis in management and business sciences from Indiana University. While at BSU, Dale was a four-year letter winner of the men's ice hockey team. He holds BSU records for most goals in a season with 43, most shorthanded career goals with 13 and ranks fifth in all time scoring leaders with 93 points. His team won back to back national championships his junior and senior years. For his part in that success, he was named All American and Team Captain in his final season as a Beaver skater. Following graduation, Dale continued his hockey career signing with the Fort Wayne Komets of the IHL. He served as team captain four out of seven years. He received the Unsung Hero award three times and ranks # 2 for all time penalty minutes with 1,589, #15 for all time points scored with 452 and #7 for number of games played. Dale was selected as one of the top 50 men's hockey players at BSU during the 50 Year program celebration in 2006. He currently works as the Pepsi Beverages Company Regional Sales Manager for Northern Indiana. He and his wife, Amy, have three children, Trevor, Anthony, and Michael and make their home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
