Alumni Coaching Achievement Award
Bemidji State University recognizes alumni and former coaches for athletic achievements. Inductees are selected by a committee of alumni, athletic staff, former Hall of Famers, and community representatives. Nominations are accepted from all interested persons.
There are now three awards that nominations are accepted for:
- Athletic Hall of Fame - Recognizes superior accomplishments as an athlete while at BSU
- BSU Alumni Coaching Achievement Award - Recognizes former BSU athletes who went on to have a superior coaching career after leaving BSU
- BSU Coaches Hall of Fame - Recognizes superior accomplishment by coaches at BSU
A prospective inductee for the first two awards must be an athletic letter award winner who attended BSU for at least two years and did not graduate from another university. Nominees must have attended BSU no less than 20 years ago.
Nomination Deadline Date - March 1, 2009
The Athletic Hall of Fame is co-sponsored by the BSU Alumni Association and the Athletic Department.
