Outstanding Alumni

Initiated in 1972, Bemidji State graduates are selected annually by the Association's Board of Directors from nominations submitted by alumni, BSU faculty, staff and friends, and are honored as "Outstanding." Alumni Service Award

 Initiated in 2011, a Bemidji State graduate who has made significant volunteer and service contributions to their community, state and anation are selected annually by the Association's Board of Directors from nominations submitted by alumni, BSU faculty, staff and friends. Young Alumni Award

Initiated in 2011, a Bemidji State graduate 40 years of age or younger who has had outstanding achievement in career, public service and/or volunteer activities is selected annually by the Association's Board of Directors from nominations submitted by alumni, BSU faculty, staff and friends. Athletic Hall of Fame

Bemidji State University recognizes alumni and former coaches for athletic achievements. Inductees are selected by a committee of alumni, athletic staff and former Hall of Famers. Professional Education Hall of Fame

The Professional Education Hall of Fame award is intended to honor BSU alumni who demonstrate excellence in teaching students or managing schools. Awards are made bi-annually. Learn more Education Hall of Fame »

Honorary Alumni

Initiated in 1990, the Honorary Alumni Award is presented to individuals who, though not graduates of Bemidji State University, have demonstrated extraordinary leadership and support of BSU, its mission and goals.
