This board is composed of 16 volunteers elected by "active" members to set association policies, develop the budget, and coordinate programs and activities. The board meets three times each year and members serve four-year terms. The operation of the BSU Alumni Association is administered by the Director of Alumni Relations.
Active member status is achieved by making an annual gift to the Bemidji State University Foundation of $50 or more. In addition to voting in Board elections, active members receive other benefits including discounted memberships at the Gillett Recreation and Fitness Center on campus, special borrowing privileges at the AC Clark Library, use of campus computer labs, discounted ticket prices to Division II athletic events and much more.
